libgrok-dev software package provides development files for grok, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgrok-dev
libgrok-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgrok-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgrok-dev *
You will get with libgrok-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
